onsemi CAT24C08WI-GT3 is an 8Kb I²C serial EEPROM that retains critical data without a power supply.

Specifications include 8Kb (1 KB) of memory, I²C interface, 1.7V ~ 5.5V supply range, and the 8-SOIC footprint. Clock frequencies up to 400 kHz are supported. Often paired with microcontrollers to hold boot configuration, calibration values, and service or maintenance records.
