MAX7219CWG+

MAX7219CWG+ is an Analog Devices common-cathode LED display driver in a SOIC-24 (0.3in wide body) package. It controls up to eight seven-segment digits or 64 individual LEDs and integrates scan circuitry, display RAM and brightness control. The operating supply is 4.0 V to 5.5 V; one external resistor sets the segment current. Check host logic thresholds and LED current requirements before connecting the device.
