Microchip Technology 24LC256T-I/MS is a 256Kb I²C serial EEPROM that retains critical data without a power supply.

The device provides 256Kb (32 KB) capacity with I²C interface, operates at 2.5V ~ 5.5V, and is available in the 8-MSOP package. Clock frequencies up to 400 kHz are supported. Often paired with microcontrollers to hold boot configuration, calibration values, and service or maintenance records.
