MAX7221CNG+

MAX7221CNG+ is an Analog Devices common-cathode LED display driver in a PDIP-24 (0.3in narrow body) package. It controls up to eight seven-segment digits or 64 individual LEDs and integrates scan circuitry, display RAM and brightness control. The operating supply is 4.0 V to 5.5 V; one external resistor sets the segment current. Its serial interface supports SPI, QSPI and MICROWIRE, and its segment outputs use slew-rate limiting. Check host logic thresholds and LED current requirements before connecting the device.
